Robin Lobosco is a local Charleston woman who was recently diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease. Although she has had health insurance since 2002, her provider has all but refused to help cover the cost of a kidney transplant without which she will not survive...and she is quickly running out of time.

Robin is an all American girl who came to Charleston 22 years ago. She is a hard worker with a heart of gold running a hair solon in Summerville, SC since 2000. But  she is caught in the middle...not wealthy enough to afford the cost of a transplant, but not indigent. Therefore she doesn't qualify for State assistance. MUSC will help some, but have emphatically declared that an initial upfront fee will be REQUIRED to BEGIN her treatment. This will be a life changing event for Robin even if she gets the transplant. She has a long hard road ahead of her. A group of her friends have pulled together in an effort to save her life and are raising money to help cover the cost of her transplant. But we cant do it without your help. Thank you and God Bless...
