On October 17th, 2023, Robin Restaino went to the emergency room with what we believed was a severe migraine. Instead, after dangerously high blood pressure readings and extensive testing, we received heartbreaking news: Robin was in acute kidney failure.
Robin had never experienced any kidney-related issues before. To this day, they have no idea why. It's just called Acute Kidney Failure. Her kidney function is now at 15 GFR (percent kidney function).
We are urgently seeking a living kidney donor to help give Robin a second chance at life.
